Vigil For Cindy

Vigil for Cindy (150 dpi) 1, originally uploaded by Wazdat!.

Well, I stepped up today! I counted myself in for a Vigil for Cindy Sheehan! And l will attend as many as l can 'til we make Dubya say "uncle.” That wasn't very nice of Mssrs. O'Reilly and Limbaugh to call us "the Far Left," and "manipulators", because if they ever came out of their iron cocoons of rabid denial, then today, they might've stopped by Syracuse New York, at the corner of Marshal and University, and would have seen what real America looks like. They would have surveyed the crowd, (a fair-sized one) and would have asked themselves:

"Are these what 'manipulators' look like? They look like average citizens to me"!

What we had were people Mr. O'Reilly, Mr. Limbaugh, not the "professionally angry", not politicians, not stars, just people. And they were people of all walks of life, race, and gender. We were all of good cheer, and proud of what our Cindy was doing. Maybe now you'll realize what a twit Dubya really is. He could have neutralized this whole business by coming out to see Cindy Sheehan and talking to her. Instead, he proved himself hidebound and insensitive to a grieving mother, whose son died in his war!
